Heavy Duty Packing.

MIES Export Packing Department designed and constructed this substantial case which when packed had a Gross Weight of 48,000 kgs. The case was designed and drawn on our CAD system and our case makers then made the substantial base and case panels at our works in Castle Donington, Derby.


The case was then transported to site where it was packed and the contents vacuum sealed to prevent damage from moisture. MIES International Ltd are experts in heavy duty packing and we have completed many cases of a similar size and weight. The experience we have gained from this type of packing is invaluable when it comes to designing cases fit for purpose. The picture shows the case at the UK port of Southampton, secured to a Maffi-Trailer prior to export shipping.
