The UK has achieved a free trade deal with Australia which has been hailed by the Instutute of Export as "Great News" for British Exporters.
This is the first post-Brexit deal that has been negotiated from scratch, as previous deals that have been won in recent
months, have been roll-overs from EU deals.
Australia currently accounts for 1.7% of UK exports and 0.7% of UK imports. The UK government have estimated that this deal could stimulate £10.4bn of additional trade and will end tariffs on all UK exports to Australia.
